Without any doubt being creative is a part of my personality. For me it is like breathing. Without it, I get depressed and bored. And Grumpy… really grumpy. It is my therapy and how I work out all the junk in my heart and mind and turn it to something positive. Along with that and almost as important is my creative space. I am incredibly lucky to be married to some one who recognizes that in me. He has gone to great lengths to make sure that I have the spaces to do the things I want to do. He puts up with my messes, my piles, my lists, my ideas and my weirdness. It makes me happy and a much nicer wife.
I thought it might be fun to Share with you where I do what I do. Most of my creativity is about the process, not so much the end result although I am quite happy when I get something fantastic out of it.
First is my Studio/ Bedroom/ study/- Jack and I have an arrangement He doesn’t complain about my areas and I don’t complain about goats in my kitchen … it works out.
See up on the top shelf… I actually do own a cowboy hat.. I wear it when I’m feeling country or when George Strait is singing, or when City Folk come out and I want to show off my newfound countryness.
Kiln Room_ When I went to take the pictures, I Got dive-bombed by a bird who has taken up residence in my warm room. So I didn’t get all the cool detail . It’s large enough for shelves and storage also. Jack built it for me so I could fire stuff at will.
And Finally My art Shed… The place where I store all my supplies to make whatever artsy fartsy thing I can dream up.
Until Next time…. God Bless the dreamer’s world for art is born there.
